Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) in association with Karnataka Skill Connect Portal has launched Women @ Work (W@W) flagship initiative in Karnataka on occasion of International Women’s Day, March 08, 2022. The primary mission of Women@Work (W@W) initiative is to work together with various stakeholders to increasethe number of women participating in the workforce including facilitating ‘Return to work’ for women who have taken career breaks.w@w acts as an umbrella initiative/platform to bring women focused programs of various agencies at one platform which can be leveraged by Women for joining workforce.
W@W Initiative facilitates relevant reskilling/upskilling programs on Karnataka Skill Connect Portal. W@W
is also aimed at amplifying and augmenting the industry efforts in increasing the women participation in the workforce in Karnataka by estimating demand forecast and ensuring availability of skilled women professionals enabling through industry supported skilling programs.
