Women #BreakingBarriers is a resource and inspiration hub for women, created by Women’s Web , India’s leading digital platform that enables women to tell their own stories.
Women #BreakingBarriers has been enthusiastically attended each year by women who are are freelancers, entrepreneurs, start-up divas, or women looking to return to work.
Over 10000 women have come to Women #BreakingBarriers in the last 8 years and made valuable connections that helped them in their careers.
KDEM has partnered with Women’s Web Breaking Barriers in 2023 as an ecosystem partner. This collaboration marks an important step towards achieving the common goal of empowering women and breaking down barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential. Through this partnership, KDEM and Women’s Web Breaking Barriers aim to create a more inclusive and equitable society where all women can thrive and succeed.
About the Event
This year, the theme is DigitALL – Coming together to Innovate! The ‘ALL’ in the DigitALL is around inclusion – it is about how digital can bring down barriers and enable more women to be part of innovation. This year, we will take Women Breaking Barriers to 9 Indian cities. In Phase I, the event will be in 3 Indian cities – 22 April, 2023 in Bangalore; 29 April, 2023 in Mumbai; and 5 May, 2023 in Gurugram, where we come and put our collective experiences and wisdom together, and discuss how can we use the digital innovations and leverage it – to grow business.



Created A platform: The event served as a platform for women to share their stories, voice their concerns, and advocate for policy changes and systemic reforms that promote gender equality. This event bought women leaders from corporates, academicians, skilling partners and entrepreneurs to act upon W@W initiative and share their knowledge, products and best practices with us.

Stalls: Women entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to showcase their businesses, ideas, and products at the event through stalls.

Raised awareness: The event raised awareness about the barriers that women face in society and highlighted the need for collective action to address these issues.

Empowerment: Through workshops, keynote speeches, and panel discussions, the event empowered women with the knowledge and skills they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Networking: The event provided women with the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, mentors, and potential employers, opening up new doors and possibilities for their personal and professional development.

Community building: The event brought together women from different backgrounds and communities, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity in the fight for women's rights and empowerment.
