Karnataka Introducing Favorable Public Procurement Policy to Aid Startups – Silicon India

Karnataka is planning to implement a preferential public procurement policy to offer increased assistance to startups, as announced by Priyank Kharge, the state’s ITBT minister. During his address at the Big Tech Show 2023 , hosted by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) in Mysuru, Kharge disclosed the government s intention to create a policy that would extend government backing to startups with distinctive intellectual property registered through the startup cell.
