He highlighted Mysuru's strategic developments, including the upcoming establishment of a 3000-seater Global Technology Center, and emphasized the collaborative effort to make TGS 2024 the “global entrepreneurship Olympics.” Both leaders stressed the importance of local community collaboration to drive success, marking a significant step in showcasing India's entrepreneurial capabilities.

Participated in a fantastic panel discussion with WeWork Labs, featuring insightful perspectives from industry leaders! Thanks to WeWork, co-panel leaders, startup leaders, and partners! We delved into crucial gaps in the startup ecosystem that the government could address, exploring avenues where state-led initiatives can make a difference, from the scarcity of quality talent to fostering local integration. We highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between startups and educational institutions, discussing strategies for seamless integration of the startup ecosystem into college hiring processes. Additionally, we explored the potential of creating platforms to bring together founders from diverse geographical backgrounds. Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM)'s impactful role in nurturing thriving startup ecosystems in emerging cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi, Dharwad, and Belagavi was also discussed.

Hosted Mr. Inderjeet Singh, Commissioner for the Housing Board Department and Special Secretary of the IT & Communication Department, Government of Rajasthan, at the KDEM office. Siddhartha Anand, VP of KDEM, provided an overview of Karnataka's thriving startup ecosystem and KDEM's innovative initiatives. Mr. Singh expressed deep interest in KDEM's programs and operations, leading to fruitful discussions about ongoing projects in both Karnataka and Rajasthan and exploring potential areas for collaboration. The visit also included a tour of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH), highlighting our commitment to fostering technological and entrepreneurial growth. This interaction underscored the potential for significant collaboration between the two states.

Partnered with Headstart Karnataka for Bharat Pitchathon 3.0 and Bangalore Slush'D 2024, this collaboration aimed to leverage the strengths and networks of both organizations to bring unparalleled opportunities to startups across the state. The objective is to create a transformative journey for startups to pitch their ideas to top investors, gain invaluable insights from industry experts, and access a wealth of resources. Selected startups will have the chance to pitch at the prestigious Bangalore Slush'D 2024, significantly enhancing their growth prospects and visibility.

Became the strategic partner for the Startup-CA Series, hosting an insightful session on basic bookkeeping practices for startups. The session featured CA. Deepika A P, Associate Partner at BCL India, who covered key topics such as maintaining accurate financial records, tracking revenues, understanding bookkeeping principles, and empowering participants with basic financial literacy. The objective was to equip startups with essential financial skills, positively impacting their financial management and overall business success.

Became the state partner for the 4th Edition of BCIC Emerging Star Start-up Awards 2024. This partnership aimed to provide Karnataka's startup owners with an opportunity to gain recognition, enhance their visibility, and drive their business growth through the prestigious awards platform.

Launched a call for applications for the Karnataka Acceleration Network, a unique accelerator program aimed at elevating innovative startups in Karnataka. The program, in collaboration with the Dept of Electronics, IT BT Department, Karnataka and Science & Technology, aimed to enhance the acceleration ecosystem across the state. Bengaluru-based accelerators were set to collaborate with incubators and accelerators in Mysuru, Mangaluru, and Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi through joint cohorts, sharing best practices and propelling startups to the next level. This initiative sought to drive growth and innovation within the state's startup community.

Participated in the Startup Mixer organized by Headstart Karnataka, which brought together VCs, founders, and industry leaders to network, share insights, and foster collaboration. Key highlights included networking opportunities with top venture capitalists and industry players, a fireside chat featuring founders who shared their journeys and advice, and a collaborative environment for pitching startups, finding co-founders, and gaining valuable knowledge. This mixer aimed to create meaningful connections and drive growth and innovation within the startup ecosystem.

Participated in the India Global Innovation Connect 2024 as the strategic partner, co-organized by the Government of Karnataka, Startup Karnataka, and K-tech. This prestigious event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss the future of innovation and entrepreneurship. Mr. BV Naidu, Chairman of KDEM, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO of KDEM, participated in key panel discussions, highlighting India's startup ecosystem, exponential growth, and government initiatives. Mr. BV Naidu also engaged with Mr. Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India, on shaping India's technological landscape. Additionally, Sri. Darshan H V, IAS, participated in a panel on "Biotech and Genomics," exploring opportunities in the field. The event emphasized Karnataka's role as a global technology hub and its support for emerging tech clusters.
