27K youth trained in factory skill schools – The Times of India

Tamil Nadu has trained more than 27,000 youth in factory skill schools set up by the state government, said the managing director of TN Skill Development Corporation, Innocent Divya. Speaking at a session Skilling for the future at GIM on Sunday, Innocent Divya said 151 factories have partnered with factory skill schools to upskill their lower-level workforce. Apart from youth, about 50,000 factory workers were also trained, she said.
