IT services leader Tech Mahindra is also working on ‘Project Indus’, an LLM trained in Hindi and 37 Indic dialects. ESDM (Electronic System Design and Manufacturing) Innovation Hubs will be established in three cities to promote electronic system design and manufacturing in Jharkhand. Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Dhanbad have been chosen for the same. The Department of Information Technology and EGovernance is preparing to include its proposal in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.

Fourday conference on semiconductors in Kolkata from Jan 6 – Devdis Course

A four-day international conference on semiconductors and Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design industry is scheduled to be held here from January 6, officials said. The conference, which hasn’t been held in the city for eight years, is expected to benefit the state’s growing semiconductor industry and contribute to India s goal of becoming a global hub for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM).
