Distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, EC, NAAC; Shri Srikanth Chandrasekaran, Country Head, Global IEEE India; Prof. Debabrata Das, Director, IIIT Bangalore; Dr. Sunil Kumar Vuppala, Vice President, AI Labs, Aurigo Software Technologies; Dr. Prasant Misra, Industry Workshop Chair, SCI 2025, Prof. Sameer Shende, TPC Chair, SCI 2025, Shri Seetha Ram Krishna Nookala, Organizing Chair, SCI 2025, Shri Magesh E., General Chair SCI 2025, Dr. S D Sudarsan, Organizing Co-Chair, SCI 2025 joined the Tech Expo inaugural. While addressing the gathering, Shri. Amitesh Kumar Sinha emphasized the need to develop indigenous technologies, especially in HPC, AI and Quantum, which leads to India’s role in the global landscape.
Outlining how India’s push in electronics manufacturing and semiconductors is now extending deep into the supercomputing ecosystem, he noted that electronics production has grown sixfold over the past decade, while exports have risen eight times.
