This facility aims to enhance the country’s refining capacity for critical minerals essential to electric mobility, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing, thereby positioning Karnataka as a major manufacturing hub. The complex will produce high-purity lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, and graphite, which are key for various sectors, including electric vehicles, aerospace, and electronics.
