About K-VLSI Design Skill Program
The Industry and Govt.of Karnataka acknowledges the pressing need to address the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the field of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) Design. With rapid technological advancements, VLSI plays a crucial role in sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, healthcare, and consumer electronics. However, there is a significant shortage of trained individuals possessing the necessary knowledge and expertise in VLSI Design.
To tackle this critical requirement, we are delighted to launch the Next Generation K-VLSI Design Program, in collaboration with the MINRO Center at IIIT Bangalore, IESA, and SAFL. This intensive 6-9 month skill development pilot program is specifically tailored for VLSI Design, aiming to equip students with the essential skills and make them job-ready for the thriving ESDM industry.

Eligibility Criteria
2.Students who have completed (or passed out from) their engineering in 2020 onwards till 2023
3.Engineers who:
i. Have completed their engineering studies at a college or university that is recognized and approved UGC/AICTE,located within Karnataka State
OR
ii.Are originally from Karnataka (Karnataka domicile) but have pursued their engineering education the state are also eligible to apply.
4.Applicants must be available for full time in the initial 2 months of the course to attend classes in IIIT Bangalore
Program Fee: The overall value of the program is INR 2,50,000+. However, the shortlisted candidate will only pay 15000 + GST
Selection Procedure
Please read the following disclaimer regarding the selection procedure for candidates who have applied for the program:
a. First level of shortlisting will be done based on percentage in engineering
b. Second Level of Shortlisting will be done based on online written test (with video
enabled) :-
i. The Test will have 2 sections Aptitude and Digital Design basics
ii. The test will be of 40 mins duration. Students are expected to login 15
mins before the test start time.
c. The final level of shortlisting will be based on interviews, focusing on the
fundamentals of engineering (with video enabled).

| Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the offer by paying the tuition fee of Rs. 15,000/- (inclusive of GST). Payment details will be provided in the letter from IIITB. Candidates will receive a fee receipt email as confirmation of their acceptance. | November 30, 2023 (Thursday) |
| The program launch and reporting will take place at IIITB Campus in Electronics City, Bengaluru. | December 8, 2023 (Friday), 10 AM |
| On this day, there will be a 2-hour induction program followed by lunch. | December 8, 2023 |
