9 interesting generative AI startups in India – Money Control

The Indian generative AI ecosystem had 60 firms across industries as of May 2023, as reported by NASSCOM. Over $590 million has been invested in this industry, with 2022 experiencing the highest influx of money. A report by SaaSBoomi and McKinsey published on July 27 also said that in India, the number of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) based SoftwareasaService (SaaS) startups has more than doubled since 2021, raising $590 million in funding as of May 2023.
