AI cutting time and effort, redefining GCC structures: Infosys delivery head

Information technology major Infosys said the power of Agentic AI is reshaping the very structure of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) by shrinking effort and time and altering how work, workforce, and workplace capabilities are designed. Satish H.C., executive vice president and chief delivery officer at Infosys, told Moneycontrol in an interview that earlier GCC engagements were centred on traditional vectors like leadership, people, and partner enablement. “If I have 1,000 people worth of work today, maybe I do not need to recreate that with 1,000 people when I set up a GCC. Maybe I need 600 people, and the remaining 400 can be agents,” he said.
