Al, cybersecurity power 40% of campus hires in Bengaluru

Bengaluru’s campus placement season has crossed the halfway mark, and artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity are leading the charge, accounting for nearly 40% of hires. Demand for Al roles has surged by 50% compared to last year, prompting colleges to make Al fundamentals mandatory for the 2025 batch and to roll out specialised cybersecurity tracks. Recruiters are also attracting juniors with internships that often lead to pre-placement offers.
