Bengaluru-based semiconductor startup Calligo Tech is expecting its first silicon for general purpose computing with alternative number system Posit this month, a senior company executive told ET. Posit is a system, which when used in silicon, claims to deliver better performance and accuracy for high performance applications — specifically those that involve significant mathematical computations.
