Coaching giant ALLEN acquires Doubtnut Gains online strength when edtech startups are going offline – CNBC TV18

ALLEN s acquisition of an edtech startup comes at a time when some of the country s most valued eLearning companies from BYJU s and Unacademy to Cuemathare rushing to set up offline coaching institutes. Founded by Rajesh Maheshwari in 1988, the Kota based ALLEN claims to have offered coaching for entrance tests such as NEET , AIIMS, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced for as many as 28 lakh students since inception. It currently has a Pan India base with more than 200 classroom centres in 53 cities.
