Global players drawn by semicon policy – The Times of India

Tamil Nadu is developing a new state policy to boost its advanced electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sector. The state aims to leverage its position as the leading electronics exporter by focusing on manufacturing advanced electronic products, semiconductor design and manufacturing, and equipment used in semiconductor production. Tamil Nadu is also targeting investments in electric vehicles (EVs) and semiconductors, with the goal of capturing a share of global semiconductor manufacturing investments.
