Govt Receives Proposal to Set up Chip Research Centre – The Economic Times – Mumbai

The government is planning to set up an India semiconductor research centre (ISRC) which will work towards R&D activities in advanced and next-generation of semiconductors, packagi ng and systems technologies, process- es, and materials. A proposal report on the roadmap to set up ISRC was on Friday handed over by the India semiconductor R&D committee to union minister of state fo r electronics and information technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
