A consortium of Gujarat based education institutes has received Rs 3.84 crore from the Union ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY) to develop and test Very LargeScale Integration (VLSI) technology. The five-year project aims to train faculty members and students in chip design and produce a chip at the Centres semiconductor laboratory in Mohali.
