ISM 2.0 marks ‘Landmark Year’ for India’s semiconductor push: MeitY Secretary S Krishnan
India has launched the ₹1.27 lakh crore India Semiconductor Mission 2.0, with plans to expand semiconductor manufacturing, packaging and design capabilities. The government expects more semiconductor units to become operational this year while adopting a broader ecosystem approach spanning materials, equipment, R&D and skilling.
