Karnataka to map water and energy for AI data centres; to create Rs 1000 crore corpus for startups: State’s ITBT Secretary

Dr. Manjula announced that Karnataka’s existing data center policy is being revamped to meet current technological needs. A draft of the updated policy will be released soon for public feedback. The revised policy is expected to include incentives for water-efficient and energy-efficient operations in Al and data centres.
