Every year, October marks the National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Monthlong awareness campaigns are organised across the country and ministries. The first ever Cyber Security Awareness Month was observed in 2004 as a significant initiative launched by the US Department of Homeland Security and National Cybersecurity Alliance.
