Wipro founder Azim Premji and company CEO Rishad Premji on September 8 met with Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to discuss issues related to Brand Bengaluru and also on the education sector.

The Karnataka government may soon make it mandatory for bank employees to learn Kannada and communicate with the locals in that language. The move is considered as an attempt to address the longstanding demand for making the Kannada language compulsory.
