Qualcomm Working with PMO, Tatas for PC Chip Packaging Here – The Economic Times – Mumbai

Qualcomm Inc, the world’s leading maker of smartphone chips, is working closely with the Indian government and Tata Group to explore local packaging of its all-new PC chip in the near term, Qualcomm chief financial officer Akash Palkhiwala has said. Some of the US chipmaker’s top engineers in India contributed to the development of its latest Snapdragon X Elite computing processor for next-gen AI PCs, Palkhiwala told ET’s Kalyan Parbatin an exclusive interview.
