Aimed at boosting regional innovation over five years, the govt announced a new centre for entrepreneurship in Kalaburagi under its Rs 1,000-crore LEAP programme. Set up with the KrishiKalpa foundation, the centre will support agritech and rural startups through incubation, market access and funding assistance.
