Budget 2024: A corpus of Rs 1 lakh crore to be set up to finance technology and innovation The government plans to set up a Rs 1 lakh crore corpus with a 50year interestfree loan to promote technology driven growth. This initiative aims to provide long term finance for research and innovation in sunrise domains. Additionally, a new scheme will be launched to strengthen deeptech technologies in defence and promote self-reliance.
