Speaking at the G20 Digital Economy Ministers meeting the minister said, 10 years ago the country had only around 500 startups and today it has around 1,10,000 startups. That is because our country has been witnessing an awakening of its innovative and development spirit, an urge to do something to find solutions to our problems. This new awakening has resulted in the formation of these startups.

Fraud and identity decisioning platform Bureau raised an additional $4.5m from GMO Venture Partners, GMO Payment Gateway, and existing investors to complete its series A funding round at $16.5m.

The discussion explored India’s global digital initiatives and offered insights into the realm of startups. The G20 Digital Innovation Alliance aims to recognize and support innovators that have digital solutions for various world economies.
