Israel’s chipmaker Tower Semiconductors has resubmitted a proposal to set up a semiconductor fabrication unit for 65 nm and 40 nm chips in India, sources in the know of the development told ET. The company, however, is also facing legal action from its erstwhile joint venture partner Abu Dhabi-based Next Orbit Ventures which is considering suing Tower Semiconductors for going ahead and submitting a fresh proposal with a new partner.
