Shubhanjan Das, Secretary, Department of Information Technology and Electronics, West Bengal, on Friday said that the West Bengal government is soon coming up with a proposal which would allow companies to use its data centres for building AI models.
It is observed that a significant milestone is being approached for the coastal city of Mangaluru, as plans are being finalized by the Union government to host a comprehensive tech, trade and tourism summit. According to statements provided by Captain Brijesh Chowta, who serves as the Member of Parliament for Dakshina Kannada, this initiative is designed to project Mangaluru onto the international stage. During a session at the TiE Con Mangaluru-2026, a prominent gathering for entrepreneurs and startups, it was disclosed that the event is being organized under the direct auspices of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The company said its new 311,000-square-foot facility has been designed to accommodate up to 1,300 employees, expanding the company’s regional Al and software development capabilities, and driving increased collaboration and innovation across R&D, engineering, and product support functions.
