The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at JSS Science and Technology University organised the ‘SruJSShTi 2026 – EC Hackathon’, a 24-hour innovation-driven technical event focusing on Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), Signal Processing, and Communication technologies.

Amid rising geopolitical risks, countries and companies are increasingly adopting “friend-shoring” and “China+1” strategies to diversify manufacturing and sourcing away from geopolitical rivals. Several Western nations have restricted or banned Chinese vendors from participating in 5G infrastructure deployment, citing security and espionage concerns. These restrictions, however, have also led to higher deployment costs and delays.

Invest UP on Thursday showcased the state’s growing global capability centre (GCC) ecosystem at the NASSCOM GCC Summit in Mumbai.The summit, which was attended by multinational corporations, investors and CXOs, saw the state officials present UP as an emerging destination for technology and business operations.

The Telangana govt, which has set itself the target of turning the state into a $1 trillion economy by 2034, has fast-tracked future-ready infrastructure development in Hyderabad with an eye on transforming it into a global city over the next decade.
