Total number of recognized startups in Punjab 1253 A total of 1.14 lakh startups across the country Startups in Punjab: The number of startups recognized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) totals 1.14 lakh across the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of startups in the country at 20,695, followed by Karnataka (12,394) and Delhi (12,301).
