The Karnataka government on Tuesday, November 18, unveiled three new policies focusing on information technology, spacetech, and startups. At the inaugural day of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, the flagship tech event organised by the state government, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced that the policies are aimed at making Karnataka a global destination for deeptech investments for the period between 2025 and 2030.

The Karnataka government, alongside a group of venture investors, committed ₹400 crore on Thursday to support artificial-intelligence deeptech ventures at the Future Makers Conclave during the Bengaluru Tech Summit.

Karnataka announced major LEAP programme updates, including Elevate Next (Deeptech) and Elevate Beyond Bengaluru, with grants ranging from INR 50 lakh to INR 1 crore for 90 startups

In a landmark move that further cements Karnataka’s position as India’s leading innovation hub, the Karnataka government and venture capital firms jointly disbursed up to Rs 400 crore to deep-tech startups at the Future Makers Conclave, held on the sidelines of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2025.

In a significant step towards advancing Karnataka’s digital infrastructure strategy, the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM),together with the Silicon Beach Program (SBP) and Deloitte as the knowledge partner, today submitted the landmark feasibility report titled “Mangaluru: India’s Next Potential Data Centre Hub – A Feasibility Study” to the Government of Karnataka.
