AI, ARR and ownership: Flexera India on driving enterprise outcomes

For years, global capability centres (GCCs) in India were built around a certain amount of predictability, with stable delivery timelines and to bring efficiency at scale. That model is now no longer the same, with several centers maturing as their mandates grow.

At Flexera, a US-headquartered firm that provides technology intelligence, IT asset management (ITAM) and FinOps solutions to global enterprises, the India centre today is increasingly tied to product direction and enterprise outcomes.

Thales to hire over 450 new roles in India by 2026

French technology major Thales has plans to recruit more than 9,000 employees worldwide this year, including 450 in India, as it continues to expand its operations across defence, aerospace and cybersecurity.

The company in a statement on Monday said it will hire talent across hardware, software and systems domains at its Engineering Competence Centres in Bengaluru and Noida, along with other functional roles.

Over the past five years, the firm said it has recruited at least 8,000 employees annually to support growth across its three business sectors.

Biotechnology firm Pandorum Technologies has raised $18 million (Rs 163 crore) in a Series B round to advance the clinical development of its therapies that target diseases on the surface of the eye.The Bengaluru-based startup, which operates research facilities in India and the US, said Monday the round was led by Vapi, Gujarat-based Protons Corporate Services Pvt Ltd.Drugmaker Galentic Pharma, stock market investor Ashish Kacholia, Noblevast Advisory, early-stage venture capital firm Avinya Ventures, and the Burman family were among the other investors that joined the round.
